Solutions have all the equipment and experience to carry out a clean sweep.
It would assist us if you could clear the immediate area around the fire place prior to our arrival.
We take great care in our work but would request that delicate items are removed from the immediate area.
Narrow passages or obstacles that will hinder access with equipment should be removed or brought to our attention at the time of booking.

Modern chimney sweeping when carried out by professionals is a clean process, unfortunately a chimney with a large build up of soot, tar or birds nest will generate an increase in waste from the chimney, solutions will ensure that any increase is disturbance is minimised at all times.

If for some reason you are unable to move heavy items or clear the area in front of the fire prior to our arrival then please let us know at the time of booking so that we can allow more time.

If you use the appliance the night before please ensure that all hot ashes are removed before the sweep arrives.
Appliances such as Rayburns, Aga’s and boilers should be turned off 24 hours before arrival as these take longer to cool down.

Type and age of property e.g. Detached/Semi/Bungalow etc
Number of storeys
The last time it was swept
Any known issues e.g. Birds nests or Tar
